Certified Divers
Daily diving, day and night, guided by our instructors, scuba diving in coral reefs and walls, sunken ships.
Usually there will be three immersions available per day, two in daytime and one at night. Groups of up to 8 divers per instructor to ensure divers will have personalized service.
Scuba Diving Courses
All our programs are supported by the PADI, the world leader in diver certification. There is a maximum of 4 candidates per instructor.
Mini-course Diving: Discovery Scuba Diver
This is a beginning level class that serves as an introduction and allows the student to get some initial experience. It is composed by a 30 minute theoretical session, a 30 minute practical session and allows the student to dive to a maximum of 36′ for 40 minutes with an instructor.
Open Water Course: Open water
Theoretical and practical course and allows the candidate to become a licensed open water diver.
Course composed by:
Theory: The first part of your course is designed for you to have a thorough understanding of scuba diving. Prior to attending the first class, the student is required to read 5 chapters covering all elements of diving. In the classroom, you will review and discuss the material with an instructor and watch additional training video about scuba diving. Before advancing to the practical part of the course, you must past a written test on the material presented in the theory section of the course.
Practical: 5 sessions in confined waters, each session takes about one hour and the student will practice with the instructor certain maneuvers and procedures in full gear.
4 open water dives
Upon completion the diver will receive a license as an Open Waters Diver that enables to dive up to 60′ in daytime.
Time requirement: 4 days.
Scuba Diver Course
3 theory chapters
3 sessions in confined waters
2 dives at sea
Upon completion of this class the student will receive a scuba diver license that enables him/her to dive at a maximum of 12′ in daytime, calm waters and always with an instructor.
Subsequently the diver could continue his/her training in order to complete the Open Waters level. Time requirement: 2 days.
Adventure Diver Course: Adventure Diver
The Open Waters Diver selects one of three specialties. The instructor then will conduct some practical sessions and will assist and evaluate the student in the theoretical part of the course.
It is done in one day three dives.
Advanced Diver Course: Advanced Diver
In order to achieve and Advanced Diver License, the student shall study five specialties, 2 of them being mandatory: Night Diving and Underwater Orientation. The remainder three recommended specialties are Deep Diving, Multilevel Diving and if possible Sunken Ships or Underwater Naturalism.
Course imparted at the discretion of the instructor depending upon what is available in the diving spots visited during the cruise.
This course requires two full time days and 5 dives.
